I added side blinkers to the mirror, thanks to a freind of mine that did the same thing to his car, then made me a pair. I spliced these in with the main blinkers so they blink at the same time.
Originally I hooked up a relay between the blinker and the side maker light to make the side marker blink, but latter I found a better modificaton that you can see here.
I setup a switch that disables the DRL's, and the head lights, so that you can turn them off in a blizard or heavy fog (and just use the fog lights), or at a drive in movie theater. Below you can see the lighted switch I installed to activate the relays used in these two modifications.
Finally, I switched the fog lights to turn on indepedant of the headlights
